BLOOD DRIVE NEWS Our sincere thanks to PGK Bill and Brother Lyle for manning the December 8 event. The next drive is February 16 at St. Philip’s Hall, 12-5 PM. If you wish to donate, it is strongly suggested that you sign up in advance on line at www.blooddrive.com. Walk-ins are possible but probably not preferable.

As we navigate through these seemingly endless days of harsh weather, our sincere thanks go out to all Brother Knights who are helping Brothers, wives, widows, neighbors, etc., get through this difficult winter by shoveling sidewalks, plowing driveways, purchasing groceries and visiting shut-ins. FOUNDERS DAY DINNER Who needs March Madness when you can enjoy a fabulous plate of spaghetti? Our annual dinner honoring our founder, Fr. Michael McGivney, is scheduled for Saturday, March 28. The gate opens at noon, with the meal served from 1 to 3 PM. This will allow those who attend the 5 PM Mass time to do so. RSVP is certainly helpful but not necessary. NOTE: This is an ideal opportunity to invite potential new Brother Knights to enjoy our food and fellowship at no charge.
THE RETURN OF THE FISH! Dinners, that is. St. Philip’s fish fry dinners will be held from 3:30-6:30 PM on the following Fridays during Lent: Feb. 20 and 27, March 6, 13, 20, and 27. For $16 per person, you can order your fish either deep fried or baked. Also included is a side of your choice: french fries, baked potato, mac and cheese or Halusky. All dinners come with either coleslaw or apple sauce, and include a dinner roll, dessert and beverage. You can dine inside St. Philip’s hall or you can call 814-683-4275 for take-out orders.
